Sakleshpur, a glance
A faraway land in proximity
Nestled in the Western Ghats, Sakleshpur is not just a natural reserve. Its roots can be traced back to the mid-nineteenth century when it was the site of the third commercial coffee plantation in India. Located on National Highway 75, Sakleshpur is easily accessible by road.
Home to the Hadlu waterfalls and the Kempuhole and Kumaradhara Rivers, Sakleshpur's hills are home to many plantations that grow coffee, cardamom, pepper and areca.
